Mondays are all about getting those greens in for an energy-full week 🍃🍚🌿✨ Dinner tonight was sautéed garlicky broccoli and peas with lots of spices, served with fluffy lemon basmati rice, alfalfa sprouts, sliced avocado and a sprinkle of cracked black pepper, paprika and fresh squeezed lemon. This is so simple and so delicious! Not to mention, loaded with plant protein! 🌟 RAD lil’ Fact: 1 cup of broccoli has 2.5g of protein, and 1 cup of peas has 8g of protein!💪🏼🌱 #letscookvegan #glutenfree #avomonday
Thick and super fluffy Tumeric vanilla pancakes topped with fresh fruit and soy yogurt 🌱 recipe can be found on my Instagram 😊
Proverbs 27:17. This tattoo means a lot me, it’s a thank you to the friends who’ve got me through some hard times. God has placed some truly amazing people in my life and they’ve kept me strong and are helping to pull me out of depression. It’s also a reminder that following the commandments of love from Jesus are important, since we all affect one another and we can either encourage and help build a person up, or we can discourage and knock them down.
One of the reasons I got this tattoo is because after I attempted suicide, my friend was so supportive and caring, she visited me in hospital the morning after, didn’t let me sleep alone for two weeks. She committed suicide February 2015. Our friendship and her love is still the hammer on the anvil to sharpen me.
